Snelgrove Named To Leadership Posts At Lexington Medical Center and Davie Hospitals

Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center has named Steve Snelgrove chief operating officer of its two affiliate hospitals, Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington Medical Center and Wake Forest Baptist Health-Davie Hospital.

Snelgrove currently is vice president of Medical Services at Wake Forest Baptist. He has been with the Medical Center since l989.

“Steve brings not only outstanding operations expertise to his new role but also significant experience with our Lexington and Davie facilities,” said Tom Sibert, M.D., president and chief operating officer, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  Snelgrove is part of a team that has been integrating operations at Lexington Medical Center for the three years since its affiliation with Wake Forest Baptist.  He is also a member of the board of directors at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Davie Hospital.

Snelgrove is a well-known civic leader in the Winston-Salem community. He has chaired the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Planning Board as well as the Citizens Steering Committee. Snelgrove has also served on the board of directors of the United Way, Millennium Fund, the Arts Council and the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership.
