Black String Band Tunes and Early Blues Music

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Rhiannon Giddens and Dom Flemons will present a musical performance titled “Black String Band Tunes and Early Blues” at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center at 12:15 p.m., Thursday Oct. 20 in Davis Memorial Chapel. Admission is free and the public is invited.

Giddens and Flemons are part of the trio, Sankofa Strings, performing early 20th century African-American music.
