WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Arts Alive! Performing arts series at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center will sponsor a performance titled “Celtic Music from the British Isles” by the group, Gaelwynd, Thursday, March 18 at 12:15 p.m. at Davis Memorial Chapel. Admission is free. The quartet will perform a variety of jigs and reels of traditional dance, mixing them with soulful waltzes, stately marches and other old Celtic forms of music.
