School of Medicine Hosts Innovation Summit

The Biomedical Informatics Program (BMIP) at theWake Forest School of Medicine  is hosting an Innovation Summit at the Benton Convention Center on Wednesday, March 2.The Summit will focus on mobile computing technology for research and clinical care support.

The objective of the Innovation Summit is to bring together leaders and scientist actively engaged in the field of mobile computing with researchers, staff and administrators interested in learning more about this emerging technology. The Summit will offer the opportunity to share insight and expertise as well as foster new relationships.

Summit Information

LOCATION: Benton Convention Center, 301 West 5th Street

TIME: The event begins at 8:30 am and goes until 4:15 pm.

COST: There is no registration fee; however pre-registration is required by February 23, 2011. The event is limited to 200 guests.

PARKING: Parking is available on Cherry Street adjacent to the Embassy Suites and the parking deck at the corner of Cherry and Sixth Streets.

TSI INNOVATION AWARD RFA: The TSI Innovation Award RFA accompanies this Summit. Participants will be eligible to apply for a $50,000 TSI Innovation Award specific to a project in the field of mobile computing. The information about the RFA will be provided at the Summit.
