Obstetrics and Gynecology Expert Joins All-Female Practice at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Oona L. O’Neill, M.D., assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology, is the newest faculty member to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wake Forest Baptist.
O’Neill received her medical degree from Medical College of Pennsylvania-Hahnemann School of Medicine. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Del., where she was named administrative chief resident. She will sit for board certification at the end of this year.
O’Neill specializes in obstetrics, minimally-invasive surgery, pelvic prolapse, urinary incontinence and urogynecology, HPV prevention, general gynecology, infertility, menopause, and female sexuality.
O’Neill joins Andrea Fernandez, M.D., and Jennifer Greene, M.D., at the all-female OB/Gyn Generalist Practice at 500 Shepherd Street in Winston-Salem.
