Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist has expanded services in Kernersville with the opening of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Kernersville and Podiatry Kernersville, located inside The Fitness Center at Kernersville.
Both clinics are located at 861 Old Winston Rd. They provide comprehensive orthopaedic and injury care for all ages, with specialists on-site in orthopaedics, sports medicine, hand and shoulder, podiatry, and physical therapy. If additional care is needed, patients have access to the large network of specialists across the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist system.
“We are so pleased to now have a new orthopaedics and sports medicine facility, podiatry clinic and physical therapy all located conveniently inside the fitness center to meet the needs of our Kernersville community,” said Dr. Cynthia Emory, chair of orthopaedic surgery and rehabilitation at Wake Forest Baptist and professor and chair of orthopaedic surgery at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. “Having a team of experienced physicians and staff who can help keep our community healthy and active is something we strive to do every day.”

The orthopaedics and sports medicine and podiatry practices are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments can be made at 336-716-8091, online or through the myWakeHealth patient portal. The fitness center is open Monday through Thursday from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from noon until 6 p.m.
