Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center has earned a place on the 19th annual Health Care’s Most Wired list.
The list is compiled by Health Forum, a business enterprise of the American Hospital Association (AHA).
The Most Wired survey is designed to measure the use of information technology by U.S. hospitals and health systems. The 461 institutions on the 2017 list were selected on the basis of information collected from 698 participants, representing an estimated 2,158 health care entities.
“The Most Wired hospitals are using every available technology option to create more ways to reach their patients in order to provide access to care,” said Rick Pollack, CEO and president of AHA. “They are transforming care delivery, investing in new delivery models in order to improve quality, provide access and control costs.”
The Most Wired list is published by Hospitals & Health Networks magazine.
