High Point Medical Center has named Jason Carter as Associate Vice President of Heart & Vascular Services. In this role, Carter will oversee all aspects of the heart and vascular service line and be accountable for achieving programmatic goals of the service line and for coordinating, integrating and managing related clinical services.

Most recently, Carter provided strategic and operational health care consultancy services to hospitals across the country including Tampa General Hospital, East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, Miami Children’s Health System and Centura Health among others. His professional experience includes many roles in the health care industry including serving as Assistant Vice President of Operations for Vidant Health in Greenville, NC and Vice President of Operations and Emergency Services for Novant Health’s Forsyth Hospital in Winston Salem, NC.
Carter holds a bachelor of science in business administration from Appalachian State University and a master’s in business administration from Winston-Salem State University.
