The residents of Davie, Forsyth, Yadkin and other western Triad counties now have access to world-class care provided by Wake Forest Baptist physicians. Davie Medical Center – Bermuda Run opened Medical Plaza 1 on Monday.
“It’s an honor for us to serve this region and community,” said John D. McConnell, M.D., chief executive officer at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. “This is the first phase of our $100 million commitment to provide high quality and cost effective care to those we serve.”
Medical Plaza 1 is a four-story, 60,000 square-foot medical office building designed to provide patients with access to key services including orthopaedics, podiatry, cardiology, neurology and ophthalmology. Patients also have the convenience of an outpatient pharmacy, outpatient physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation and lab collection located on-site.
The contemporary facility houses elements to help individuals maintain a healthy lifestyle. A teaching kitchen and conference room with state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment allows patients to learn about exercise and nutrition from health care experts.
