Wake Forest Baptist Launches Virtual Health Store

Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center has launched an online health store, www.shopbesthealth.com, to meet the needs and demands of its patients, BestHealth members, employees and public.

“This virtual health store offers more than 200 products related to health and wellness, patient care needs, home care and gifts,” said Joanna Lyall, director of corporate and community programs. “Not only does this virtual retail store provide convenience to our patients, it also allows us to continue to offer patient care and wellness solutions to our BestHealth members and the community. The store inventory is designed to expand and evolve over time as we incorporate user feedback.”

Wake Forest Baptist has partnered with Paquin Healthcare to meet the needs of today’s connected, informed and online health care consumer. Convenient, online access allows patients to purchase items that may be recommended as part of their ongoing care. The online store offers a variety of health products from categories such as wellness and nutrition, diabetes, wound and skin care and continence. Numerous products include monitors and electronics, FDA approved vitamins, minerals and supplements, books on healthy cooking, parenting, cancer and diabetes.

Wake Forest Baptist staff from different departments extensively review all products before they are offered online.
