April 2, 2012

As part of its ongoing initiative to make access to health care services more convenient for patients, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center announces the opening of Plaza 2311 at Medical Plaza - Clemmons on Monday, April 16.  Medical Plaza - Clemmons is located at the intersection of Lewisville-Clemmons and Peace Haven Roads.

"Our new state-of-the-art facility has been designed with the needs of patients in mind," said Mike Esposito, director of Medical Plaza - Clemmons.  "This facility offers access to the expertise and compassionate care our patients have come to expect from Wake Forest Baptist. We believe people from Clemmons, Lewisville and other nearby areas will be pleased with the breadth of the world-class health care services offered and the ease of navigation into the parking lots and the buildings."

Outpatient services available beginning April 16 include internal medicine, adult and pediatric allergy, pediatric dentistry, lab services and general pediatric care.  Additional services will be offered in Plaza 2311 and the second building (Plaza 2341) and will be phased in over the coming months. These services include a convenient care center, a hematology and oncology clinic, women's health services (breast care services, internal medicine and obstetrics/gynecology), vein services, pediatric and adult ENT, facial plastic surgery, a spine center, sports medicine and physical therapy.
