Carr Inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Radiology

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – J. Jeffrey Carr, M.D., M.Sc., has been inducted as a fellow in the American College of Radiology (ACR). The induction took place at a formal convocation ceremony during the recent 86th ACR Annual Meeting and Chapter Leadership conference in Washington. 

Carr is vice chair of clinical research and professor of radiologic sciences, internal medicine-cardiology and public health sciences at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Carr earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 1989 and master of science degree in clinical epidemiology. He completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at Wake Forest University and a fellowship in magnetic resonance imaging at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

He specializes in cardiovascular imaging with CT and MRI. Carr lectures widely and is an author of more than 100 articles with publications in Radiology, Stroke, Diabetes, Bone, ATVB, Circulation, American Journal of Cardiology and The New England Journal of Medicine.
