Michael Waid has been named the Administrative Director of Diagnostic Neurology at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Waid will provide leadership to nine centers including: the Neuroultrasound Lab, Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, Sleep Disorders Center and Magnetoencephalography (MEG) Imaging Center.

Waid served as Executive Director of Baptist Hospital HomeCare and Baptist Hospital Home Rx, subsidiaries of North Carolina Baptist Hospital, before assuming the role of Administrative Director of Diagnostic Neurology. Waid directed all operations of home health, home infusion pharmacy, long- term care pharmacy, durable medical equipment and respiratory therapy services. Waid is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
“Mike has served the organization well for many years. We were delighted he chose this role in Diagnostic Neurology” said Steve Snelgrove, vice president of administration at Wake Forest Baptist. “His leadership will ensure that our patients continue to receive the very best care in the region.”
