WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Department of General Surgery at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center has announced the appointment of three surgeons to its faculty.
James H. Holmes IV, M.D., has joined as Assistant Professor of Surgery and Medical Director of the Burn Center. Dr. Holmes completed a fellowship in Burn Surgery at the University of Washington Harborview Medical Center in 2003 and a fellowship in Trauma/Critical Care at the University of Pennsylvania in 2005. He is board certified in general surgery and board eligible in surgical critical care.
John K. Petty, M.D., has joined the Section of Pediatric Surgery as an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics. Dr. Petty completed his fellowship in pediatric surgery at The Children’s Hospital of Denver in 2005. He is board certified in general surgery and board eligible in pediatric surgery.
Jeffrey Rogers, M.D., has joined the Section of Transplant Surgery as Professor.. Most recently he was Assistant Professor of Surgery at Medical University of South Carolina. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
