Parker Honored with Industry’s Highest Award

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Bob Parker, vice president for home and community health for Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, was presented with the 2005 Dr. Ellen B. Winston Award during the Association for Home & Hospice Care of North Carolina’s (AHHC) Leadership Conference in Wilmington.

This award, the highest honor given by the North Carolina home care and hospice industry, is presented annually to an individual who has made a significant contribution to home and community-based care on both the state and national level.

Parker has nearly 30 years of experience in public health and home health. “Bob Parker has been a major force in the movement, growth and acceptance of home care and hospice services in North Carolina.” says Tim Rogers, executive vice-president of the organization.
