In observance of National Women’s Health Week, the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center will have an open house from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. May 12 on the fourth floor of the Janeway Clinical Sciences Tower.
Free osteoporosis, anemia and high blood pressure screenings will be provided. The first 50 guests will receive free cholesterol and diabetes screenings. Other visitors may have their cholesterol tested for $12. Information on hormone replacement therapy and alternatives, breast feeding, depression, osteoporosis and urinary incontinence will be available.
The public is invited to meet the department’s new physicians and physician assistant, tour the facility and register for door prizes. Refreshments will be served. Parking is free for the public.
