The community is invited to an open house at the Downtown Health Plaza of Baptist Hospital in honor of Lawrence D. Hopkins, M.D., Sunday, April 6 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. The facility is located at 1200 Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr.
Hopkins recently moved his obstetrical and gynecological medical practice from Aegis Family Health Center-Winston East to the Downtown Health Plaza. Aegis-Winston East is an affiliate of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
In addition to his practice at the Downtown Health Plaza, Hopkins is clinical associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
The Downtown Health Plaza provides comprehensive primary and preventative health care services including obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics and adult medicine. The facility also has an onsite pharmacy, lab and radiology and specialized services such as:
