WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – For the fourth consecutive year, Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center is listed as one of Piedmont Parent magazine’s “40 Family-Friendly North Carolina Employers” in its September issue.
The magazine lists 40 great places for parents to work in North Carolina from nominations sent in by each company. The magazine’s editors choose employers that lead the way in family friendliness and salutes work places that help employees balance the demands of work and family.
Employers having such benefits as job sharing and flexible work schedules, a lactation room for breast-feeding mothers, an on-site employee health center and free flu shots were named to the list.
Piedmont Parent, a free monthly magazine, includes information about health and fitness, child psychology, education, child development, teen-agers and other subjects.
