WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Ten registered nurses at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center received The Great 100 award during a ceremony held in Greensboro on Sept. 28.
The recipients are Suzanne A. Carroll, R.N., M.S., O.C.N., A.O.C.N., clinical nurse specialist for oncology; Regina Curry, R.N., staff nurse; Doris W. Davis, R.N., C.C.R.N., staff nurse; Brenda Earle, R.N., M.S.N., nurse clinician; Cindi Jones, R.N., B.S.N., staff nurse; Jeanne (Vonnie) Nall, R.N., staff nurse; Pamela G. Noah, R.N., B.S.N., clinical nurse manager; Becky Peters, R.N., M.S.N., M.B.A., C.N.A.A., director of nursing operations; Mark Thomas, R.N., staff nurse in the General Clinical Research Center; Carol L. Watters, R.N.C.S., Ed.D., clinical nurse specialist in orthopedics.
The Great 100 recognizes 100 registered nurses throughout North Carolina for their excellence in the nursing profession, contributions to the community, and efforts toward improving patient care and nursing education.
