Ronald H. Small, director of pharmacy at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, was awarded fellow status in the American Pharmaceutical Association''s Academy of Pharmacy Practice and Management (APhA-APPM), the national professional society of pharmacists with more than 50,000 members.
A fellow is a member of either the APhA Academy of Pharmacy Practice and Management or the APhA Academy of Pharmaceutical Research and Science with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience. To attain fellow status, members must demonstrate progressive, exemplary service and achievements in their profession and through service in APhA academies.
The APhA provides professional information and education for pharmacists and advocates for improved health through the provision of comprehensive pharmaceutical care.
