“We are pleased to be able to offer more convenient world-class heart and vascular care to the people of the Yadkin Valley region,” said David Zhao, M.D., chief of cardiovascular medicine and director of Wake Forest Baptist’s Heart and Vascular Center. “More people in this area can now benefit from the expertise and research of an academic medical center, while remaining close to home.”

Four cardiologists will be seeing patients beginning Monday, March 25.

“My family has deep roots in North Carolina, and I really enjoy getting to know my patients and helping them live healthier lives,” Kay said. “Hugh Chatham is a wonderful partner and offers diagnostic services right here in our community which is a great convenience for our patients.”
