Andrew Eskew, MD named Executive Medical Director for High Point Medical Center

HIGH POINT, NC - High Point Medical Center (HPRH) has named Andrew Eskew, MD as Executive Medical Director for High Point Medical Center (UNCRP) effective July 1, 2017. In this capacity Eskew will oversee UNCRP and be responsible for strategic initiatives, clinic operations, financial performance and quality improvement activities related to the group practice.

“I am honored to join the senior management team at High Point Medical Center,” said Eskew. “The investments that UNC Health Care has made in High Point Medical Center and UNC Regional Physicians has expanded the strength of an already very strong organization. I look forward to seeing UNC Regional Physicians continue to excel in delivering high quality, cost conscious medical services to our community and this region.”

Currently Dr. Eskew is a practicing Urologist for High Point Medical Center Urology and will continue to see patients part time in addition to his new role. He has held various leadership positions with Cornerstone Healthcare, Piedmont Stone Center, High Point Surgery Center, and is currently serving as a member of the High Point Medical Center Board of Trustees.

Dr. Eskew completed his undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University, medical school at Bowman Gray School of Medicine, and residency/fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
