Five New Doctors Join Department of Radiology at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center announces the addition of the following physicians to the Department of Radiology.

Michael Berry, Ph.D., M.D., assistant professor specializing in interventional radiology. Berry completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed his residency and fellowship at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Carol Geer, M.D., assistant professor specializing in neuroradiology and interventional neuroradiology. Geer completed her medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed her residency and fellowship at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Upma Hemal, M.D., assistant professor specializing in abdominal imaging and pediatric radiology. Hemal completed her medical degree and residency at the Government Medical College in India. She completed a fellowship at the University of Michigan.

Brian Kouri, M.D., assistant professor specializing in varicose vein treatments and uterine fibroid therapy. Kouri completed his medical education at the University of North Carolina Medical School. He completed his residency and fellowship at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Wendell Myers, M.D., assistant professor specializing in breast, chest and pediatric imaging. Myers completed his medical education at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where he also completed residency and a fellowship. He is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Radiology.
