WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Cardiologist William C. Little, M.D. has been elected president of the Association of Professors of Cardiology. Little is professor of medicine and chief of cardiology at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
Little received his medical degree in 1975 from Ohio State University. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Virginia Hospitals and a fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Little is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is the author of more than 175 scientific publications.
The Association of Professors of Cardiology is a non-profit organization established in 1990 to promote the professional development of its members, lead the effort to train cardiovascular specialists and be the voice of academic cardiology.
